KCBA planned and designed an expansion of the memory support building at this senior living community. The expansion features 16 apartments, 12 of which are part of an addition along the side of the original building and four of which were constructed within a portion of an existing courtyard. The project also entailed a kitchen renovation and enlarged dining room in the original building to accommodate the influx of new residents. New secure landscaped courtyards tailored to the needs of memory support residents as well as new common and support spaces were also implemented.
