KCBA Announces New Leadership Framework

KCBA Architects is excited to share several leadership updates to elevate our service capabilities and positioning for long-term growth and success.

James Keiffer, RA, CDT, CPD, a Senior Project Manager and 21-year employee, has been named Director of Operations with responsibilities over the firm’s project teams and many day-to-day administrative tasks. Michael Strohecker, AIA, a 17-year employee, has been elevated to Director of Design where he will lead a collaborative team in achieving KCBA’s commitment to creative, well-conceived design solutions.

Keiffer and Strohecker join four others in a newly formed Executive Leadership Committee overseeing all aspects of the firm’s operations and strategic direction. They include Firm Principals Michael Kelly AIA, ALEP, LEED AP and Eric Gianelle, AIA along with Business Manager Julie Profilet-Saucier and Marketing Director Jonathan Goldberg, CPSM.

Eric Gianelle says, “I am thrilled to announce the formation of KCBA’s new Executive Leadership Committee. The members of this group were carefully selected for their strategic vision, hard work, and unique contributions to KCBA’s success. I look forward to exploring many new ideas and initiatives as part of this group in the years ahead.”

Several core team members have also been named KCBA Associates including Jamie Bortz; Ryan Orr, AIA; L. Anthony Russo III, RA, NCARB; and Stacy Thomas, AIA, LEED AP. They join existing Associates Kurt Kroszner, RA; Mark Marella, RA; Robert Montanye, AIA; and Walter Zapor, LEED AP, CSI, CDT, in serving on the Associate’s Committee. This group is charged with advancing specific aspects of KCBA’s operations including design methodology, client service and project management, quality control, thought leadership in our core markets, product research and development, and office culture.

Michael Kelly states, “I congratulate the new class of Associates on this wonderful achievement. We have a very talented group that brings expertise with all aspects of project management, design and construction, technology tools, and client engagement. I thank them for their commitment to KCBA and appreciate their invaluable input and contributions.”
