KCBA Awarded PASSHE Contract

01/13/2023

KCBA is pleased to announce the firm has been selected by the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education to hold an open-end contract for professional architectural and engineering services.

This contract allows any of the 14 universities within the state system to directly engage KCBA to provide a range of campus and facility-related consulting, planning, design, and construction administration services. The contract has a base term of two years and carries two optional renewal terms of two years each, for a maximum of six years.

KCBA has an ongoing and successful partnership with several of the PASSHE institutions and we look forward to broadening this work over the course of this contract. One notable example is Bloomsburg University where our work has included renovation of the Student Recreation Center, roof and envelope upgrades at two campus facilities, and several building lifecycle studies. Also at the campus of Kutztown University, KCBA designed the new Wells-Rapp Center for Mallet Percussion Research and the conversion of an academic building to serve as the new headquarters for the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center.
