New Construction Linked to Existing Academic Building
KCBA provided architectural services for this new science building on the main campus of Bucks County Community College. The new 43,650 sq. ft. facility is located adjacent to and links with the existing Founders Hall academic building. The program features a diverse mix of labs, prep areas, teaching spaces, and student spaces to facilitate instruction in biology, microbiology, biotechnology, chemistry, organic chemistry, and anatomy and physiology. Located at a central node of campus overlooking a popular campus green space, the new building features a contemporary mix of glass, brick, stone, and metal panel materials. Greeting visitors with a dynamic two-story commons space, the building offers a modern new environment for student engagement and campus life.
