Having experienced tremendous enrollment growth, KCBA partnered with Perkiomen Valley School District on a number of projects including a new elementary school, new middle school, and this major renovation/expansion of the district high school. Fully occupied throughout construction, careful phasing was implemented to maintain safe operability during all aspects of the 212,000 sq. ft. renovation and 129,000 sq. ft. addition project. Notable features include a new three-story science and technology wing, a new kitchen and cafeteria, and an athletic wing addition with a 2000-seat gymnasium. The renovation entailed new modern mechanical, electrical, and data systems as well as the infusion of multiple sustainable strategies. In addition to increasing student capacity, this project produced modernized learning environments, improved building circulation, and a fresh building aesthetic.
